Senior UI/UX Designer

The Senior User Experience (UX/UI) Designer will be part of the Asia Segment Experience Design community and will champion conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, translating them into concepts, wireframes and functional prototypes for usability testing and iteration. You will work closely with the regional and local market product owners and teams to develop and evolve great customer and agent experiences.

Responsibilities

• Apply conceptual thinking to create world-class digital services across multiple platforms, aligning user needs with business goals and technical realities.
• Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity amid system complexity.
• Be a storyteller by delivering insights about people and behavior—verbally and visually—to generate empathy, emotion, and engagement with clients and the design team.
• Facilitate problem statement definitions by validating product assumptions, advocating for the customer’s perspective, and considering business objectives.
• Conduct discovery and research to understand the business and the customer; create service blueprints, journey maps, and personas.
• Work directly with customers and prospects through observational studies, interviews, usability testing, and other qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover insights, learn about user behavior, and verify design concepts.
• Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
• Identify design problems through in-depth analysis of research and ideate elegant solutions and customer experiences.
• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups for intuitive user experiences across a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Rapidly test and iterate designs using storytelling and rapid prototyping, from paper sketches to digital prototypes.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders and bring them along at every step of the design process.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented.
• Contribute as a member of an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 to 7 years of dedicated UX design experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Psychology, Human-factors or similar discipline.
• Proficiency in designing complex digital solutions for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
• Extensive experience in user-centered design processes, usability testing methodologies, and accessibility standards.
• Strong knowledge of creating scalable design systems and large-platform interfaces using tools like Figma.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaborations with engineering, product management, and CX, service design teams.
• Expertise in developing design strategies aligned with business goals and user insights.
• Deep understanding of human-centered design principles to champion user needs across projects.
• Passion for helping teammates, sharing knowledge and experience, and learning from them.
• Openness to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable skills in illustration, photography, or diagrammatic expertise and iconography are an advantage.
• Experience in designing for AI-driven experiences and interfaces is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI design tools such as Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, or Google Stitch is beneficial.
• Experience in creating AI-driven experiences and interfaces is also advantageous.
