About the Role

CloudEats is looking for two Quality Assurance Engineers, one Mid-level (35 years) and one Senior (5+ years), to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to plan, execute, and improve testing processes across both manual and automated frameworks, ensuring every release meets the highest standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases from product requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Conduct exploratory, usability, and regression testing where automation is not applicable.
  • Log, track, and verify defects in Jira; work with developers for timely resolutions.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, adopting new tools and BDD frameworks.

What Were Looking For:

Mid-Level QA Engineer (3-5 years of experience)

  • Strong skills in manual and automated testing .
  • Proficiency in Selenium/Playwright , Jira , and BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.

Senior QA Engineer (5+ years experience)

  • Advanced expertise in test automation, QA best practices, and process optimization.
  • Leadership in test strategy , framework selection , and mentoring junior QAs.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java) for automation.
  • Strong communication , stakeholder management , and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record in implementing scalable QA processes for complex systems.

  • Ability to balance manual and automated testing effectively.
  • Adaptability to evolving tools and requirements.
