Overview Strategic and Sourcing Senior Specialist at Jollibee Group | HR Practitioner | Psychometrician Buyer (Food Category) Location: Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup) Hiring Entity: Jollibee Foods Corporation Job Summary As a Buyer, assigned to Food Category, you will play a key role in ensuring the company secures goods and services at optimal cost, quality, and timing. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, monitor market trends, and maintain inventory levels to support operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate procurement proposals ranging from routine to complex. Negotiate pricing within approved limits and recommend suppliers based on performance and cost. Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions. Follow up on orders, verify deliveries, and approve payments. Maintain accurate records of purchases, including logs of price changes. Source and recommend alternative suppliers and manufacturers when necessary. Support product development by initiating studies and testing new materials or products. Ensure inventory levels are maintained within safety and target thresholds. Collaborate with other departments to establish and improve procurement systems and procedures. Conduct cost analyses and make informed decisions on purchases based on quality, quantity, price, and timing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting. At least 1 year of procurement experience is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cost-benefit evaluations. Excellent communication skills in English; able to coordinate effectively across departments and with external suppliers. Capable of making quick, logical, and objective decisions in procurement matters. Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig under a hybrid setup.
