JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Creates Purchase Orders and responsible in analyzing data to determine the latest marketing trends.

  2. Strategically monitor, replenishment, and maintain inventory with sufficient weeks/months supply to carry.

  3. Manages allocation or transferring of stocks to balance inventories of retail, e-commerce, on/off premises, and warehouses.

  4. Coordinate with Warehouse and Supply Chain Department for delivery and receiving of items.

  5. Coordinate with Finance Department regarding cost reviews, remittances on Consignment accounts, and other related.

  6. Manages content and SKU creation.

  7. Assists in developing exit strategies for slow-moving and non-moving items.

  8. Assists on sourcing new items for additional assortment and evaluates vendor performance in terms of product costs, and timeliness of delivery.

  9. Proposes initial order forecast for review.

  10. Acquires Strong Communication and Negotiation skills with potential and existing vendors.

  11. Maintains good relationship and partnership with vendors in maintaining target goals.

  12. Generate and provide accurate reports on product performance and statistics.

  13. Prepares competitive retail and e-commerce pricing strategy (online and offline) for review of the Category Manager.

  14. Proposes SKU pricing based on competitive price analysis for review and approval of the Category Manager.

  15. Triggers cost, retail, and promo pricing implementation in the system to be verified and approved by the Category Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.

  2. Candidate must be proficient in MS Office programs and retail systems.

  3. Knowledge on Wines, Liquor, Deli, and Tobacco is a plus.

  4. Candidate must have a background in retail and food merchandising.

  5. Knowledge on E-commerce is an advantage.

  6. With 1-3 years of experience specializing in Merchandising, Buying, Inventory Management, Category Management, or equivalent
