Job Description Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies Maintain records of goods ordered/ received Oversee and monitor purchase order accuracy Monitor monthly purchase costs Source vendors of items, equipment or supplies and determine product availability and terms of sales Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers Review, evaluate and approve specifications for awarding bids in coordination with the Supply Chain Director Negotiate for best price favorable to the company, reduce expenses and measure monthly/ yearly savings Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power Prepare reports regarding market condition and merchandise cost Participate in Research & Development of products Arrange disposal of surplus materials Ensure Logistics are scheduled properly Implement on-line supply chain system specifically SAP/ Oracle Job Specifications 4-year Course / Bachelor Degree related to Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Administration and other food/restaurant related courses With at least 5 years of experience handling the same position in Retail, F&B or Hotel Industry With excellent background in Purchasing, planning and negotiation skills. Must have established suppliers for group of restaurants. Ability to review, analyze, and differentiate detailed vendor and services provider specifications.
