Stagwell – Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Senior Accountant We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The Senior Accountant will lead aspects of the accounting function within CORE Stagwell, the Corporate entity providing Shared Services to Brands across the Stagwell network. This role reports to the Stagwell Core Brand Accounting Manager and provides monthly financial results analysis to each head of Shared Services functions. Responsibilities Balance sheet account reconciliation and preparation of general ledger account analyses to ensure accuracy. Maintain revenue recognition processes, including revenue, WIP, and deferred revenue schedules. Reconcile all bank accounts monthly with Staff Accountants. Aggregate and record month‑end expense accruals and prepare month‑end journal entries. Manage and reconcile all intercompany transactions. Research and propose solutions for open items on balance‑sheet reconciliations. Support month‑end ancillary package and Hyperion trial balance uploads. Serve as a back‑up for various areas within the Shared Service Department. Assist with internal and external audits as required. Handle ad‑hoc requests as assigned. Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls. Qualifications Experience with large ERP and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, NetSuite, Maconomy, etc.). Basic knowledge of GAAP. Basic understanding of technical aspects of account analyses and financial statements. Ability to reconcile accounts and perform GL analysis. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. 3+ years of accounting experience. Basic Excel skills (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, PivotTables). Ability to set priorities, multi‑task, meet critical deadlines, and pay attention to detail. Highly organized, self‑starter with good interpersonal communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
