We provide customized logistics solutions and integrated information systems. Job Description Cargo Signal is looking for a Business Operations Manager to lead our APAC region. The role requires a visionary leader who drives efficiency, standardization, and quality through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration. The Business Operations Manager works alongside the operations team to ensure execution meets customer requirements. Responsibilities and Duties Analyze operational performance with stakeholders, reviewing data quality and identifying opportunities for efficiency and standardization. Review and map operational processes within the APAC Command Center. Join daily huddles to support the team, collaborate between stakeholders, and build a culture of quality. Support process and technology deployments, ensuring active participation in relevant enterprise deployments. Serve as a deployment subject‑matter expert, guiding stakeholders, providing training, communicating progress, and facilitating feedback. Review adoption and performance of deployed technologies and digitalization usage. Facilitate discussions on reinvesting capacity in other operations areas as capacity is realized. Align with global initiatives at the APAC Command Center. Participate in the Operational Performance Assessment Program, conduct self‑assessments, and mentor development. Lead the CAPA process, ensuring it delivers value to customers. Facilitate Management Review Meetings (MRM) for Cargo Signal’s leadership team. Conduct training courses for all employees in the Command Center. Support, develop, and mentor direct reports, overseeing delegated business operations tasks. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Active listening, emotional intelligence, and leading change capabilities. Adaptability, presentation, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and strategic planning skills. Process improvement and global logistics industry knowledge. Minimum 2 years experience within operations; proficiency in process mapping, root‑cause analysis, and problem‑solving techniques. English language proficiency. Global Business Operations Competencies Strategic – Involved in tactical business planning and stakeholder engagement. Analytical – Solves problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis and identifies improvement opportunities. Pursuit of Excellence – Motivated to improve customer service, employee experience, and organizational growth. Education and Experience 3–5 years logistics experience, ideally in Air Import/Export, Transcon or Customs. Knowledge of customs brokerage, import/export processes, and systems. Understanding of customs legislation, classification, valuation, origin, and incoterms. Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills. Proven problem‑solving, interpersonal, communication, and leadership capabilities. Understanding of air transport and related documentation.
