Role Description This full‑time on‑site General Ledger Accountant will manage the company’s general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial statements. Responsibilities include month‑end and year‑end closing activities, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The accountant will collaborate with other finance team members to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting. Qualifications Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Knowledge of month‑end and year‑end closing activities. Ability to assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus. Experience in the retail or distribution industry is beneficial.
