What is this role about?

The role is responsible for preparing records under journal entries and accounts from the Finance Department. This person is also responsible for reconciling the General Ledger & Subsidiary Ledger to ensure reports are accurate and tally, in preparation for data needed for the company's retail station segment.

What will YOU do?

  • Check the activities of the Daily Sales Report (DSR) Department to obtain the Daily Collection Data.
  • Report and analyze data from Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) Reconciliation, Recording of Adjustments, and Reporting.
  • Prepare Monthly International Financial System (IFS) Reports & Schedules.
  • Review Final Bank Reconciliation per station.
  • Reconcile General Ledger & Subsidiary Ledger to ensure reports are accurate and tally, in preparation for monthly reporting.
  • Recheck all outputs of the General Ledger team.
  • Attend project-related daily and/or weekly meetings involving the department.
  • Perform other functions as assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need?

  • Accountancy graduate with at least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Adept and knowledgeable in applying accounting principles and concepts, analyzing financial documents and data, and reconciliation skills.
  • Must be a critical thinker and detail-oriented.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly G Suite, including spreadsheets, documents, and presentations) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.
