Roles & Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of custom applications using Workday Extend, ensuring seamless integration with Workday core functionalities. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design blueprints. Develop and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions within the Workday ecosystem. Provide thought leadership on best practices and architectural design, ensuring alignment with Workdays standards and guidelines. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Workday Functional Consultants, Developers, and Project Managers, to ensure successful delivery of custom applications. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and enforce adherence to development standards across all projects. Stay updated on new Workday Extend features, product enhancements, and industry trends to inform solution design. Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements for custom applications. Mentor junior developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous Requirements / Skills Workday Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Workday Integrations. Workday Extend: At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications using Workday Extend (formerly Workday Cloud Platform). Workday Modules: Strong expertise in Workday HCM, Financials, or related modules. Technical Skills: Designing and implementing scalable cloud-based applications. Strong understanding of Workday APIs, data models, and security protocols. Experience with web services, REST, SOAP APIs. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, XSLT, and Workday-specific languages like Workday Studio and EIBs. Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
