Overview

Construction Manager – T1 Project Services | Palawan | Project Based | Full Time

Responsibilities
  • Review and manage programme deliverables and contractor deliverables for CSA works (softscape, hardscape, infrastructure, architectural, and civil/structural works).
  • Coordinate, oversee and manage construction progress, site management, and alignment of interface with MEPF, ELV, Landscape, Architectural, Specialty, and all other trade packages.
  • Procurement and commercial management where necessary; engage in selection and tender procedures for Infrastructure & CSA works and ensure compliance with procurement strategies, including OSM quality checks.
  • Oversee the construction, progress, and quality of roadwork projects.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, photographic reports, and other geotechnical/topographical data to plan projects.
  • Witness and review materials tests; facilitate design coordination and communication; conduct risk analysis and mitigation for design vs. site conditions for CSA works.
  • Risk analysis, delays, construction issues, and mitigation recommendations; programme tracking and client direction monitoring for all Infrastructure & CSA works.
  • Facilitate and/or lead weekly coordination meetings with package contractors and other stakeholders to resolve critical conflicts or issues.
  • Provide construction oversight on quality management, direct quality control, scheduling, and collaboration with contractors’ Construction Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Perform regular site visits including client site inspections, offsite inspections, QA/QC inspections, safety inspections, and other necessary inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with DPWH standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date reports on construction progress, quality and safety; coordinate with Sr. Construction Manager and Sr. Project Manager for reporting.
  • Respond efficiently to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate package contractors to execute work per program, design documents, specifications and contract payments.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover; interface between contract package contractors, suppliers and vendors.
  • Utilize PM-CM System for risk assessment, method statements analysis, permits, job hazard analysis, and related pre-requisites prior to work execution.
  • Site safety management and collaboration with the safety management team.
  • Attend design and construction coordination meetings to obtain approvals or clarifications as needed.
  • Monitor contractors’ daily, weekly and monthly reports and deliverables.
