Senior Controllership Specialist

Job Description The Manila Finance Shared Service Center handles various Finance processes for 888, William Hill, and Mr. Green legal entities across different locations such as Accounts Payable, Treasury, Reconciliations, Journals, Taxation, and Financial Reporting. What you will be doing Prepare, create, and post journals and submit for approval Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data, ensuring transactions are recorded appropriately Maintain organized and up-to-date records of reconciliation activities, including supporting documentation and evidence Generate and close general ledger, AR and AP reports to review with management Upload ERP trial balance to consolidation software or system Perform Balance Sheet and Trial Balance reconciliations Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely statutory and consolidated financial statements and disclosures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements by collaborating across functions Collaborate with other regions to support the needs of the Group consolidation processes Apply knowledge in a variety of ad hoc technical accounting issues; prepare technical accounting work papers and present them to audit and management Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation, attendance of necessary meetings, and acting as a liaison officer to the external auditors Ad hoc responsibilities Ensure appropriate continuous professional development, keeping abreast of all internal, legislative, and industry best practice Ensure appropriate interpretation and implementation of required changes in a timely manner Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation when necessary Who we are looking for Graduate of Accountancy or accounting-related course CPA with 5+ years of accounting and audit experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to solve complex accounting issues Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g. Excel, ERP Systems) Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders Detail oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices What we offer Financial: Competitive salary and bonus schemes Hybrid working: Work from home up to 40% of the time with 60% office time to ensure collaborative team interactions Paid Time Off (Service incentive leave): 30 days leave on an annual basis, plus an extra day for your birthday Healthcare and Wellness: Tools and services to support your well‑being, including mental health support and financial education More About Evoke We’re a business that embraces change and progress.
