Statistical Programming Manager

Overview Statistical Programming Manager role at HiPaaS Inc. Location: Anywhere in India / Remote. The Manager of Statistical Programming remains hands-on with the daily activities of a Statistical Programmer I (SP I) or Statistical Programmer II (SP II). He/she acts as lead programmer for assigned projects. Responsibilities Programs all tables, listings and graphs necessary for an assigned clinical study report (CSR). Acts as lead programmer for assigned projects. Programs customized data displays (including data listings, summary tables and routine graphics) in accordance with the approved statistical analysis plan (SAP) and shell displays for clinical research studies. Writes code using Base SAS programs, SAS procedures, or standardized macros. Analyzes protocol, SAP, existing shells/templates to understand data structure and content. Performs data checks to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays. Prepares documentation for programs and datasets, including datasets and variables descriptions and project-level documentation. Creates SAS datasets of clinical data from clinical databases and creates status and efficacy datasets. Creates project-specific macros and formats and loads client data from other platforms and software packages. Prepares data for client delivery and for external transfers and data imports. Reviews the SAP and TLF mock-ups from a programming perspective. Communicates with clients to set and manage project timelines and deliverables; assigns projects to the team and resolves problems or technical difficulties. Trains junior team members on industry regulations, standards and internal tools; trains clients on internal eClinical modules. Works with IT to ensure a secure environment with proper access control on SAS servers. Collaborates with the product team on platform enhancements and process automation. Works with Quality Assurance on SOP drafting and revision, and supports testing/validation of internal data management modules. Mentors and reviews the performance of team members. MSP reports to Senior Manager of Statistical Programming or Director, Data Management and Statistical Programming. Work Requirements Corporate office environment. Some travel (5%) may be required, with potential travel on weekends. Cross-functional interactions. Training Complete Training Requirements per current Training Requirements List. Supervisor will assign additional skills training as necessary to achieve qualifications and improve performance. Ideal Profile / Essential Functions Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to details. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, prioritize, and deliver quality, on-time results. Ability to work collaboratively in diverse organizational structures and with dynamic clients. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and strive for quality and efficiency. Ability to work positively in a continually changing environment. Solid/Advanced SAS skills and understanding of standardization in data, programming, and statistical reporting of trial results and its implications for drug development. Education and Experience Required Master’s degree in statistics or related field with 8+ years of industry experience as a Statistician. PhD degree with 5+ years of postgraduate experience in Biostatistics or equivalent. Prior experience leading a Biostatistics team. What’s on Offer?
