About the Role This role will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities of the company, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns. This role involves accurate preparation, analysis, and submission of tax reports while providing guidance on tax strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, etc.). Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation, rulings, and updates issued by tax authorities.. Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurate reporting in the general ledger. Provide tax planning and advisory support to management for cost optimization and risk mitigation. Respond to tax inquiries and correspondence from government agencies. Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, focusing on tax provisions and deferred tax computations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in taxation (corporate or public accounting environment). Strong understanding of corporate tax laws, VAT regulations, and tax compliance procedures. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and reporting abilities. CPA preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
