Primary Responsibilities: Design System Management Design System vision, roadmap, and governance; build and maintain reusable components, patterns, and tokens aligned with brand and accessibility standards Collaborate with engineering to implement, maintain, and scale the system in code (via Storybook and Figma libraries) Document guidelines, usage standards, and best practices to drive adoption Measure system health, adoption, and impact on design and development speed Design Operations Establish/streamline processes that improve design team efficiency (e.g., intake, prioritization, handoff) and output quality Manage and optimize design tools, plugins, and collaboration platforms Drive consistent documentation and knowledge sharing across the design team Work with the UX research practice to establish workflows and processes in line with industry standards Facilitate feedback loops and design reviews to maintain quality and alignment Product Design Contribute to end-to-end product design; from exploration and wireframing to the final UI Create exceptional, user-friendly digital experiences that meet business goals and enhance customer satisfaction Work closely with stakeholders across various departments (product, marketing, IT, legal, info security, etc.) to ensure design strategies are aligned with business objectives, customer insights, and brand guidelines Conduct UX research (e.g., user interviews, prototype testing, usability testing, etc.) and lead design workshops to inform design decisions Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers, fostering skill development, creativity, and career growth within the team Work closely with developers to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately and effectively, collaborating throughout the development process to ensure a seamless user experience Basic Qualifications Must be a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in courses related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields Must have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design Must have experience creating/working on design systems, design standards, and cohesive visual languages Strong portfolio showcasing experience in conducting user research and analyzing data to inform the creation of user-centered designs Proven experience shipping digital products across multiple platforms Knowledge of industry-standard accessibility guidelines Knowledge of design system documentation Knowledge of design tokens and variables; Front-end development familiarity is a plus Advanced degree or certifications in UI/UX design or related fields is an advantage Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines Why Join Us We are the first Great Place to Work certified airline in Southeast Asia Recognized as Best Employer Brand on LinkedIn for two consecutive years Be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation and continuous improvement Play a key role in developing and nurturing the talents that drive our success Accelerate your career with access to extensive learning programs and leadership development initiatives Enjoy unique employee perks such as free travel for you and your family Comprehensive healthcare coverage upon hire Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila with a hybrid workplace arrangement.
