About the Role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our core systems across networking, cloud, and application environments. This role is hybrid in nature — combining network engineering, web development, and cloud integration. The ideal candidate has experience with Cisco networking gear as well as modern web technologies such as and , with additional exposure to security and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and performance issues.
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using , , and related frameworks.
  • Support back-end services and integrations with databases and APIs.
  • Manage cloud networking and deployments in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement basic information security controls across systems and applications.
  • Automate deployments, workflows, and monitoring using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, development, and security).
  • Maintain documentation for systems, network configurations, and applications.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in networking, development, and cloud.

Requirements

  • CCNA certification or equivalent 1+ years of field experience with Cisco networking gear.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in web development.
  • Strong expertise in and , plus familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Professional knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Basic knowledge of information security principles.
  • Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab).

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Professional or equivalent cloud certification.
  • Information Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent).
  • Experience with cocos2d or Unity3D for interactive/web-based modules.
  • Expertise in Laravel for back-end application development.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to system monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, or similar).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
