Join Citi as a Mandarin Compliance Surveillance Analyst to support compliance risk management through surveillance and regulatory collaboration. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Serve as a compliance risk analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM)’s Surveillance team, designing, implementing, and overseeing surveillance to detect regulatory or policy violations. Review and analyze surveillance alerts and reports related to firm, employee, and client trading activity, documenting and escalating exceptions appropriately. Gather and analyze trade data to assist responses to governmental and exchange regulatory inquiries. Support compliance evaluation of surveillance results and communicate findings to management and legal/compliance personnel. Respond to inquiries from internal partners such as ICRM Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal. Assist in designing and refining surveillance programs. Handle telephone hotlines and perform data entry as needed. Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards, and elevate control issues transparently. About You The company is looking for: Bachelor’s degree required; experience in financial services, regulatory, legal, or consulting firms preferred; advanced degree is a plus. Proficiency in Mandarin, Tagalog, and English. Fresh graduates who are Mandarin proficient are welcome to apply. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self‑starter with flexibility, innovation, and adaptability. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively at all organizational levels. Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies. Some knowledge in the area of focus.
