Overview

The Senior Technician Audio Visual is responsible to provide a high level of audio, visual & lighting installations and technical operations, attractions, and event venues within the property.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees the Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) daily activities to ensure all audio-video & lighting equipment and facilities are 100% safe and operational at any given time.
  • Performs minor repairs and routine cleaning of all AV & lighting equipment.
  • Ensures familiarity with the operational characteristics of AV and lighting equipment and carries out effective checks to ensure the system is functioning as required; follows up to ensure user requirements are implemented as instructed by the immediate superior.
  • Monitors equipment performance and conducts maintenance works as per schedule.
  • Ensures sufficient consumables and spare parts are available and reports deficiencies to the Lead Technician.
  • Install, repair, refresh, and retire AV entertainment equipment.
  • Assists the Lead Technician in ensuring facility equipment preventive maintenance is well implemented.
  • Performs other reasonable duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time and may be transferred to other sections of the Engineering Department at the discretion of Engineering leadership.
Qualifications I. Experience
  • At least two (2) years in audio-visual / technical theatre stage setup & operations; live events experience.
II. Education
  • Preferably a Degree or a technical/vocational certificate/diploma in AV or Engineering, or the equivalent combination of education and technical certifications.
