We are seeking a skilled and creative Audio Visual Technician - Video Editor to support the technical and creative needs of our operations. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining audio-visual systems for events, shows, and internal productions, while also producing engaging video content for marketing, promotions, and digital platforms. This is a dynamic role blending behind-the-scenes AV support with storytelling through video editing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for live events, conferences, performances, and internal functions (including LED walls, sound systems, lighting, projectors, and video switchers).
  • Provide technical support during live shows, corporate events, and casino promotions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of AV equipment.
  • Liaise with event organizers, production teams, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment and ensure all systems are properly stored and secured.

Video Editing Duties:

  • Capture, edit, and produce video content for marketing campaigns, event highlights, digital signage, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and entertainment teams to conceptualize and execute visual content aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Add music, sound effects, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for multiple platforms (e.g., web, social media, in-house screens).
  • Maintain a well-organized library of digital assets and backups.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in AV technology and/or video editing, preferably (but not required) in hospitality, events, or entertainment.
  • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of AV systems including microphones, mixers, lighting rigs, switchers, and playback systems.
  • Familiar with digital formats, codecs, resolutions, and video optimization techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
