We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, identifying and resolving software defects, and driving continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree, notably in computer information science or computer science
• 10+ years Experience in software quality assurance
• Expert in writing broad test plans and test cases
• Expert in Cucumber, Selenium and open-source testing frameworks
• Expert in different testing techniques i.e. UI testing, Automated testing; familiar with behaviour driven testing
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
• Constantly learns from both success and failure
• Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
• Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next

On the job you will:

• Review and translate requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product developers
• Create, maintain and execute automation test scripts
• Analyze automation results and investigate failures
• Design detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Identify KPIs for product quality
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect frequency first time pass rate
• Keep up-to-date on latest test software and frameworks
• Drive software development process to quality-centric methodologies
• Identify Quality Assurance process bottlenecks and design and implement solutions
• Control, update and distribute new and revised quality standards and technical changes
• Prepare and deliver formal quality audit reports
