Overview Credit Officer - Commercial Banking (GenSan) – Security Bank Corporation. Join to apply for the Credit Officer - Commercial Banking (GenSan) role at Security Bank Corporation. Responsibilities Conduct interviews and ocular inspections with clients to determine the risk profile of the borrower/client. Prepare credit proposals with all information gathered and internal tools to be presented to CRECOM and EXCOM. Prepare financial analyses based on the data gathered to determine the client’s capacity to repay. Stay updated with the credit policy manual/risk bulletins to ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies and other governing policies. Collaborate with Relationship Managers in loan packaging while identifying credit risk and acceptable mitigants for recommendation to approvers. Plan interim extensions, client calls, or information gathering (e.g., AFS, bank checks, appraisals) in advance to ensure renewals are on time and to avoid expired lines. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in credit and financial analysis in commercial banking. Knowledge of basic accounting and credit policies. Financial analysis and good written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties; inquisitive.
