Job Description ESD Technician: The primary responsibility is to drive continuous ESD operations and maintain uninterrupted equipment in the Rel-ESD Laboratory. Minimize downtimes and equipment overdue as much as possible. Provide technical assistance and engineering support within established guidelines to determine and improve product/process quality and reliability. Ensure continued drive in ensuring that published reports and papers are of appropriate quality and content. Partner with operations, business units and other key stakeholders to understand and implement qualification, evaluation, and monitoring plans and strategies. ESD Lab Management and execution of ESD activities and procedures for NPI/Non-NPI Qualifications, Evaluations, and Customer Risk Assessment in accordance with qualification plans, international standards, and internal specifications, to improve component/process quality and reliability. Requirements/Qualifications Degree holder of Engineering, or technical graduate equivalent courses. Basic knowledge and application of reliability testing and operations. Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC, J-IPC/JEDEC). Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with work experience in Quality and Reliability Laboratory Operations. 7 basic quality tools (FMEA, Control Plan, 5-Why, Fault Tree, 8-Discipline Problem Solving). Basic understanding of semiconductor assembly and test processes. Self-motivated and goal-oriented; team player with effective communication skills; good interpersonal skills. Preferably with work background in a semiconductor company. Skills in using reliability tools and accessories (e.g., DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, curve tracer). Ability to analyze and interpret electronics circuits, schematic diagrams and layouts.
