We are looking for a Lead Security Analyst to strengthen our firewall compliance and security posture across the organization. Job Overview As a Lead Security Analyst, you will provide tactical direction, mentor Senior Security Analysts, and conduct global security reviews to reinforce the company’s overall firewall security posture and ensure continuous compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough reviews of commercial and corporate firewall devices to reduce the risk of unauthorized changes, simplify firewall policies, and maintain continuous monitoring of overly permissive rule definitions. Oversee the integration of newly onboarded firewall devices and expanded scope into the review process, ensuring alignment with existing compliance and risk management controls. Lead collaboration efforts with stakeholders to drive the remediation of review findings and maintain ongoing compliance with security standards. Ensure timely submission of all audit‑related deliverables to meet internal and external requirements. Develop, manage, and report GIS Validation team metrics, and lead projects focused on the ongoing enhancement of processes, methodologies, tools, and AI‑driven initiatives. Coordinate globally with stakeholders to drive initiatives and represent the GIS Validation team as the technical lead and point‑of‑contact with internal clients and vendors. Prepare and deliver management reports to support strategic decision‑making. Oversee the team’s daily operations, develop strategic timelines, assign tasks, and provide coaching to enhance team performance. Respond promptly to escalations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Identify process gaps, lead improvement initiatives, and develop metrics and reports to track efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze data and apply methodologies to process information under any given criteria. Prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver outputs within agreed timelines. Document procedures and organize them in accordance with business requirements. Work with stakeholders to gather information and provide findings to support compliance activities. Leverage AI‑driven methodologies and tools to enhance data analysis, automate routine tasks, and improve decision‑making processes. Any Information Security Certification is a plus. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in an information security role. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. Proven experience in leading projects and driving process improvement initiatives. Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, communication, writing, and business presentation skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team environment. Demonstrates key behavioral competencies such as sound decision‑making, effective problem‑solving, and strong teamwork. Solid understanding of best practices, emerging trends, current threats, and risk management related to firewall or network security. Experience with firewall analysis tools is an advantage.
