Overview The Strategic Data Analyst is primarily responsible for designing and executing initiatives to meet the business goals of unsecured lending products and non-lending products within the bank’s retail business. The position takes end-to-end ownership, from analyzing data to translating it into insights and creating outputs that impact the bank’s bottom line. Responsibilities Work with the Non-Lending Analytics Head to continuously challenge and develop underwriting, portfolio, and scorecard strategies. Perform rigorous statistical analysis of internal and external data in support of recommended strategies. Liaise with various business and technical teams to implement strategies. Qualifications 5 - 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science. Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics. Working knowledge of data analytics tools such as SAS, R and Python. Understanding of consumer secured lending, unsecured lending, on-lending business. Skilled in data-driven analysis with an emphasis on Retail Business. Strong analytics skills with focus on pragmatism; Excellent time management skills. Able to deliver results across multiple projects in parallel.
