Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accounting.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Preferably CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
  • Expertise in group financial planning, consolidation, project financial analysis, valuation, and related finance studies.
  • With at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to develop and maintain detailed financial models for subsidiaries and consolidations.
  • Proficient in preparing investment analyses, feasibility studies, and capital structure reports.
  • Well-versed in Corporate Management reporting, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Job Overview:

Management Reporting

  • Assist the SMC Group CFO in presenting quarterly financial results and monthly estimates to the SMC Board.
  • Support the Investor Relations team in reviewing Monthly Operation Reports (MOR).
  • Assist in reviewing financial performance for Annual Incentive Plans (AIP) and Business Performance Review (BPR).
  • Implement Phase 1a of the BPV system to improve management report speed and quality.
  • Enhance capex reporting using automated AACE and CAPEX dashboards.
  • Develop Phase 2 of BPC system (CSU budgeting) and Phase 1b (full financial statement management reporting with SAP BPC integration).

Budgeting/LRP Process

  • Oversee short-term (budget) and long-term (LRP) financial planning processes, including assumptions review, timeline coordination, and presentation to the SMC Board.
  • Provide management with financial highlights and analyses of budgets and LRPs prior to presentation.

Financial Modelling

  • Develop and maintain financial models for major subsidiaries.
  • Standardize inputs for efficient updates and provide projections to internal and external clients quarterly.
  • Standardize outputs such as projected financial statements, ratios, covenant monitoring, stress tests, cash flow planning, valuation, and capital optimization reports.

Corporate Finance Strategy

  • Support OTP and management with financial analysis, strategic studies, and recommendations.
  • Conduct strategic analyses related to returns, risks, and sensitivities.
  • Manage capital structure strategies, including financing, investing, and dividend policies.
  • Monitor RRR and WACC, and review valuation processes.

Project Evaluation and Monitoring

  • Implement the automated AACE system, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for strategic projects.
  • Provide comprehensive financial evaluations for expansion and operational projects.
  • Verify financial data for projects requiring OTP approval through the CFO's office.
