Overview

This is a remote position for the Dispute Specialist role at SRR Group .

Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment disputes, chargebacks, and service-related complaints.
  • Liaise with payment processors, banks, and internal departments to gather evidence and respond to disputes promptly.
  • Maintain accurate dispute case records and documentation for auditing and compliance.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance and financial reports (e.g., dispute status, win/loss rates, revenue impacts).
  • Identify patterns or recurring issues and recommend process improvements to reduce dispute frequency.
  • Collaborate with customer service, operations, and finance teams to ensure proper resolution and prevention measures.
  • Ensure all dispute-handling procedures meet company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (is a plus).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dispute management, chargebacks, or financial operations preferably in the home services, towing, or logistics industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, CRM systems, or dispatch software is a plus.
Technical Requirements
  • Computer specifications include cross-platform compatibility with the following minimums:
  • Intel: Core i7 (8th generation) or higher; Core i5 (10th generation) or higher; RAM minimum 12 GB; Storage 128 GB SSD or higher; Graphics memory 2 GB.
  • AMD: Ryzen 5/7/9 (minimum series 3600); RAM minimum 12 GB; Storage 128 GB SSD or higher; Graphics memory 2 GB.
  • Macintosh: Processor Core i7/i5 or M1/M2; RAM minimum 12 GB; Storage 128 GB SSD or higher; Graphics memory 2 GB.
  • Main internet speed requirements: jitter below 10 ms; latency below 160 ms; upload > 25 Mbps; download > 40 Mbps.
  • Power backup capable of sustaining a full shift (minimum 8 hours) using generators, solar panels, or UPS (UPS alone is not sufficient).
  • Internet backup (secondary internet) is required.
Work Condition & Benefits
  • This is a work-from-home position requiring a stable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
  • Agents must be available to work shifts aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
  • Compensation is provided on a weekly basis.
