The main responsibilities of a JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST include: Requirements Gathering: Work directly with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, ensuring that all system requirements are clearly and comprehensively recorded. Testing Support: Play a supportive role in integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), verifying that solutions adhere to the agreed specifications. Communication: Act as the key intermediary between business units, technology teams, and clients to guarantee that both the business requirements and the proposed solutions are clearly understood by all parties. Process Documentation: Create detailed documentation of business processes and workflows which serve as a reference point for training and operational guidance. Project Support: Provide assistance in various project‑related tasks such as planning and documentation, supporting senior team members and contributing to project success. Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visual presentations that effectively communicate business performance and insights to stakeholders. Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that address business challenges. Escalation: Manage incident severity assessments and facilitate the appropriate escalation process to ensure issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in: Project management experience: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Advanced Excel skills: Proficiency in using Excel for complex data analysis. Business Intelligence tools: Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for creating visual data representations. Stakeholder management: Ability to manage relationships with key business stakeholders. Continuous improvement mindset: Always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
