Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Research Leadership: Design and lead consumer research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, to uncover actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze consumer trends, behaviors, and market dynamics to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to integrate insights into campaigns, customer experiences, and product designs.
- Reporting and Insights Sharing: Present key findings to leadership teams to influence strategic direction.
- Innovation in Methodologies: Introduce and apply cutting-edge tools and techniques in market research to enhance the quality of insights.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor and report on emerging consumer trends, competitive activities, and market changes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in consumer insights, market research, or data analytics. Background in tech or consumer electronics is a plus.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills to convey insights effectively.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with tools like Tableau, SPSS, or similar data visualization/analysis platforms.
- Team Leadership: Experience managing or mentoring a team and/or agencies is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand consumers' attitudes, behavior and evolving trends, enabling consumer-driven brand decisions and NPD opportunities.
- Partner with research agencies to design and implement methodologies addressing business objectives.
- Review and interpret data (e.g., Kantar home panel, Nielsen retail audit) turning findings into actionable brand recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams to align insights with retail partner strategies.
- Monitor and report key market indicators, delivering updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage and optimize market research budgets and enhance spend effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in market research, consumer behavior, or marketing.
- Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies (quantitative and qualitative).
- Minimum 3 years of market research experience with a track record of delivering insights.
- Data-driven mindset with passion for primary and secondary research.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Kantar, Nielsen.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of research concepts, methodologies and budgets.
- Problem-solving ability with creative and strategic thinking.

What You Will Do
The Head of Consumer Insights and Analytics for Metro Asia guides business strategy and growth across 8 markets. You will identify consumer and market insights by integrating outside-in competitive, market, and consumer/shopper insights, and oversee a team of insights professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the insights and analytics strategy aligned with Metro Asia business objectives; lead a team to deliver actionable insights for product development, marketing, consumer, HCP and customer engagement initiatives.
- Consumer Insights: Drive consumer research to gather insights on customer preferences, behaviors, and trends; identify key segments and engage them through brand health tracking and competitive intelligence.
- Data Analytics: Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation; apply predictive modeling and visualization; partner with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into strategies; communicate to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of related experience in OTC and FMCG; experience in market research, insight and analytics preferred.
- Proven leadership and project management experience with multiple stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and ability to drive business impact.
- Excellent data translation and storytelling capabilities; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience identifying research methodologies and preferred suppliers; regulatory/compliance awareness.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred in related fields.
