Job DescriptionThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building strong relationships, and increasing revenue. The role includes expanding the company's client base and market reach through:
- Market research
- Lead generation
- Client relationship management
- Sales strategy development
The BDM serves as a bridge between the company’s capabilities and the market’s needs, helping align internal resources with external opportunities. The ultimate goal is to drive growth and revenue through strategic planning and relationship building.
DetailsJob Type: Remote / Full-Time
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Compensation: Salary is open for discussion with HMO on the first day of engagement
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM Philippine Time
About the Client: The client is a leading international brand integrating Chinese and German technology across America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. Manufacturing capabilities include multiple facilities and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
About the Role: Lead growth initiatives, market penetration, and revenue enhancement for an elevator solutions brand. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement to expand in operational territories.
Key Responsibilities and Timeline for Achievements:
First 2 Weeks
- Orientation and product/operational understanding
- Initial meetings with sales and marketing to review strategies
- CRM/database familiarization
First Month
- Set sales targets aligned with annual goals
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Develop detailed BD strategy and target clients/geographies
- Begin outreach to qualified leads
First 90 Days
- Generate and nurture leads for CEO-level discussions
- Enhance lead generation via targeted marketing
- Refine engagement strategies from CEO feedback
- Develop initial training program for new hires
180 Days
- Close deals independently with new clients
- Address client needs with customized solutions
- Midway review of sales strategy
- Train and evaluate the BD team
- Introduce innovative sales/marketing tactics
In a Year
- Demonstrate market reach and revenue growth
- Lead BD team to exceed targets
- Cultivate a culture of learning and innovation
Screening Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related field
- 3-5 years BD or sales experience with proven track record
- 1-2 years leadership experience
- Experience in Engineering/Construction and elevator sectors preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue
- MS Office and CRM skills (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning
- Leadership and organizational abilities
Home-Based Requirements:
- Fast wired internet (50 Mbps or higher)
- Quiet home office
- Updated computer, quality headset, and webcam
