Functional Overview This role requires deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance, and maintainable front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and tooling. As a UI Developer, you will be responsible for creating user-centric, accessible, and secure interfaces that align with enterprise-grade standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about performance, clean architecture, and design systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop modular, reusable UI components using React and TypeScript (TSX). Build and maintain server-rendered applications with Next.js, leveraging its routing, API routes, and SSR capabilities. Optimize application performance and ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance) across all supported browsers and devices. Collaborate with back-end teams for API integration using Node.js-based tooling. Apply best practices in front-end architecture, code reviews, and test coverage to ensure code maintainability and scalability. Participate in UI/UX discussions to advocate for user-centered design principles. Support infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines; experience with DevOps workflows and Terraform is a strong plus. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, security best practices, and responsive design. Work closely with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver best-in-class user experiences. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5+ years of professional experience in front-end development. Expert-level knowledge of React, including advanced component design and state management. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, TSX, and modern ES6+ JavaScript. Hands-on experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, and dynamic routing. Proficient with Node.js for tooling, build pipelines, and server-side integration. Deep understanding of web performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, caching strategies). Solid grasp of web accessibility standards (ARIA, semantic HTML). Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Experience working in agile, enterprise-scale software environments. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., React, TypeScript, Accessibility, or DevOps) are a plus. Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment. Team player with strong collaboration and adaptability. Working Conditions Willing to work on a Hybrid set-up. Willing to work in Mandaluyong City.
