Overview

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines. Role: Interconnection Coordinator, Residential Energy at Tesla. The Interconnection Coordinator is responsible for handling several work streams for customers and Energy projects to reach key milestones through system activation. This includes processing documentation, understanding technical design criteria for submission of utility and AHJ applications, and managing a pipeline of projects from initial creation to final utility approval. Daily tasks include following up on outstanding utility applications, responding to internal inquiries, keeping Tesla systems up to date with project information, interacting with various internal and external groups, and performing other related tasks to assist moving projects to completion. This role requires vigilant attention to detail, consistent initiative, and sound judgement to solve problems. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, has keen organizational skills, and possesses the ability to deal with large volumes of different work streams with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, submit, and track a high volume of documents related to customer utility and AHJ applications.
  • Review project information to ensure the correct forms are selected based on product type and utility or program requirements.
  • Enter daily notes and status updates for utility tasks in internal systems to ensure accurate tracking and visibility.
  • Communicate with internal teams, customers, and utility or incentive program contacts via phone, SMS and email to gather missing documents and confirm submission details.
  • Support process consistency by following established procedures and flagging any issues or updates to team leads.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately.
  • Comfortable with data entry and using basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft 365 suite, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and external contacts.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Dependable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently after training.
