Job Description
The Manager TI Advanced Analytics will partner with the Global Talent Acquisition organization and People Analytics leadership to advance data and talent analytics capabilities, products, and services across J&J globally.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage data science and analytics projects, applying the full data science stack (SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.).
- Own the portfolio of TI Advanced Analytics projects; prioritize work, triage ad-hoc requests, and conduct After Action Reviews (AARs).
- Develop analytics and insights for Quarterly Business Reviews; democratize external talent insights via dashboards and other data products.
- Drive stakeholder engagement to ensure business value of data science products; collaborate with TA leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Ensure full data science stack capability ( Acquisition, Engineering, Storage, Analysis, Visualization) and readiness to integrate AI within workflows.
- Maintain awareness of external analytics capabilities and continuously improve tech stack, architecture, and libraries.
- Oversee data sources and platforms; drive automation and AI-enabled processes; champion data integrations across HR data streams; ensure governance and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- 8+ years leading data science and analytics projects; full stack data science tools experience preferred (SQL, Python, Tableau).
- Demonstrated knowledge of data science tools; familiarity with cloud IDEs, cloud storage, cloud computing, visualization and automation software.
- Experience managing compute, cloud storage, and bandwidth for projects.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle: inception, concept, iterations, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
- Proven stakeholder management in a matrix organization; strong communication for executive engagements.
- People leadership experience; ability to lead 3+ technical team members preferred.
- Ability to translate data and analytics into actionable business insights.
- Portfolio of data science initiatives for customers/clients preferred.
- Experience in global services or consulting for internal teams or clients preferred.
- Reports to: Senior Manager, Talent Insights.
- People Leadership: Hire, retain, and engage analysts; train team in data science technologies and methodologies.
