Responsibilities
  • Use multiple capabilities including technology, data, and analytical insights to influence and drive J&J enterprise talent strategies and recruiting attraction efforts.
  • Contribute to the ideation, design, development and delivery of data products/services to enhance J&J’s capability in making strategic talent decisions in a highly competitive recruitment environment.
  • Deliver high impact products in areas such as: talent supply and demand, competitive intelligence, talent flow reporting, location strategy research, dashboards, etc.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to identify trends and opportunities and influence strategies with data-based insights.
  • Partner closely with recruiting leadership to align on intake of product requests, set delivery expectations, and lead all aspects of product delivery.
  • Support ownership and delivery of Insights and Recruiting data, metrics and insights.
  • Support identification, piloting and use of industry-leading technologies and tools to support key products/services across the Talent Intelligence portfolio.
  • Champion and apply agile methodology within the team to improve outcomes and foster a strong collaborative culture.
  • Act as a change agent and influencer, bringing advanced analytical capabilities to the organization.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a STEM or related discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, computer science, mathematics).
  • Minimum 4 years of analytics or data science experience in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to drive business results, identify risks/issues, analyze data, assess implications, formulate recommendations, and influence outcomes.
  • Experience with analytics and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Visier, and Alteryx.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Python for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) with exposure to NLP libraries (e.g., Spacy, NLTK).
  • Experience with statistical models (Multiple Linear Regression, Logistic Regression) and ML algorithms (Random Forest, Neural Networks) with ability to interpret and communicate results.
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Llama, Hugging Face, LangChain).
  • At least 1 year of experience in web application development for data science use cases.
  • Experience supporting People Analytics, Talent Acquisition, and/or HR projects is a plus.
  • Experience using cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud is a plus.
