We are seeking a talented Commercial Finance Analyst to oversee all financial activities related to token shares and transactions. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including airdrops, budgeting, bookkeeping, auditing, reconciling statements, month-end close, investing, funding, and token utility management. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in general accounting, financial planning, and analysis, coupled with a keen eye for numerical accuracy. Ultimately, you will provide precise and insightful quantitative information about the company's token financial position, liquidity, and investment potential.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting and Financial Reporting:
  2. Maintain and complete moderately complex accounting activities, including compiling, analyzing, posting, and reporting financial information related to token shares and fiat transactions.
  3. Ensure accurate tagging of transactions and maintain the integrity of the general ledger for token shares and fiat accounts.
  4. Prepare and distribute financial statements, such as income statements, variance analysis, wallet and bank reconciliations, balance sheets, and payables logs.
  5. Budgeting and Cost Management:
  6. Develop and implement cost control and investment management strategies for token shares and liquid treasury.
  7. Lead planning and budgeting processes for token shares and liquid treasury, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  8. Collaborate with various departments to prepare annual budgets for the overall corporate structure and individual products/business units.
  9. Token Metrics and Analysis:
  10. Monitor and analyze token share statistics and valuation metrics, such as staking ratios, P/B ratios, market capitalization, and economic circulating supply.
  11. Budget and analyze token treasury and EDF allocations for strategic distribution to teams, communities, and ongoing/future business units.
  12. Monitor the financial runway and recommend timelines and strategic measures for fundraising initiatives.
  13. Reporting and Communication:
  14. Prepare and distribute payables and financial reports, including ledgers, management reports, and variance analyses for marketing, community, investors, and engagements.
  15. Provide actionable insights to support decision-making for various stakeholders.
  16. Address ad hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of accounting experience; experience in crypto and Web3 is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve variances.
  • Proficiency with accounting tools and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Experience in establishing and automating financial processes is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in G Suite (GDocs, GSheets, GSlides).
  • Familiarity with tokenomics, financial metrics, and related analyses is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
