Fabric Data Engineer

Fabric Data Engineer Location : Mandaluyong/Clark/Tarlac/Cebu Shift : Mon-Fri, 7AM-4PM PH Time Arrangement : Hybrid, Full Time Primary Objective : The Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric’s unified analytics platform. This includes managing data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, enabling advanced analytics, and supporting business intelligence initiatives through Fabric’s Data Engineering, Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI workloads. Key Responsibilities Work with the various team and business stakeholders to determine data and information requirements for new reports and features. Develop data ETL process using defined tool sets. Create data solutions using data lakes and data warehouses to feed power BI data models for reporting. Create and agree solution designs with relevant stakeholders using agile and lean methods that focuses on maximising business value. Implement data designs and transformations using agreed development practices and technologies to achieve business outcomes in a timely and supportable manner. Use data to discover tasks that can be automated. Use large data sets to address business issues. Provide estimates and flag risks and issues that can affect the timely delivery of new capabilities. Participate in planning sessions as required. Create and maintain documentation as required to ensure ongoing supportability of systems. Be actively involved in applying TOA-Agile process into the business and development team. Provide training to users of business applications. Qualifications / Skills Bachelor’s degree with strong statistical, technical or analytical component: for example, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance or Statistics. Develop, construct, test and maintain data architectures. Align technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses with business requirements. Data acquisition and development of data set processes. Develop data ETL process using defined tool sets. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality. Conduct research for industry and business questions. Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods. Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modelling. Provide expert advice to other departments on the use of data, information and visualisations to solve business problems. What’s in it for you?
