Data Analyst - Microsoft Fabric Ecosystem Schedule: 7 am to 4 pm Location: Hybrid/Office-based What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years' experience in business intelligence or data analysis across modern and legacy platforms Strong Power BI skills: dashboard creation, data visualization, report optimization, and user support Proficient in SQL for data extraction and querying across Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server Experience using "is/is not" root cause analysis methodology for investigating data quality issues Familiarity with legacy tools: Excel/VBA , SSRS , OLAP Cubes Strong communication skills for explaining data issues, supporting tool migration, and engaging with stakeholders Experience guiding user transitions from legacy systems to modern self-service tools (e.g., Fabric, Power BI) Highly Valued Microsoft certifications: PL-300 , DP-600 , or other Fabric/Power BI credentials Experience in Python , R , or other data analytics programming tools Background in finance , operations , or commercial analysis Experience conducting training or enablement sessions for business users Knowledge of statistical analysis and data science techniques Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric notebooks and Jupyter notebooks What You'll Do As a Data Analyst within the Microsoft Fabric Squad, you will play a key role in delivering business insights, supporting end users, and enabling self-service analytics across a hybrid environment of legacy and modern tools. You will work in close collaboration with Data Engineers and Platform Engineers to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
