Overview

We are looking for a passionate mid-level software engineer with a backend focus to join our growing team and help build scalable solutions that power our platform. Location: Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines. Arrangement: Full-Time - Mon-Fri; Hybrid- Makati.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Build and optimize PostgreSQL databases with complex queries and data modeling
  • Work with Supabase to create seamless backend integrations
  • Develop RESTful APIs using NestJS or Express frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Write clean, maintainable code with proper testing and documentation
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL - writing complex queries, database design, and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
  • Proficiency in NestJS or Express.js for building scalable APIs
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Nice to Have
  • Experience with database migrations and schema management
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
