As an international company we are looking for an Inhouse Lawyer in Manila.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Law
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as in-house lawyer at international constuction/ renewable energy companies
  • Proven record of experience in construction area, vast knowledge of Labor Law, Trade Law, EU civil law
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Very good communication skills as well as problem-solving skills,
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Result-oriented and multi-tasking with good time management skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Legal services for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Preparation of corporate documents
  • Coordination of company registration in EU countries
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts- mostly Contracts for supply and/or construction works, lease agreements
  • Cooperation with internal departments of the company and legal advice on current activities,
  • Giving support to HR department in labour law issues
  • Day-to-day legal advisory, including explanations regarding interpretation and application of legal regulations
  • Coordinating internal legal affairs, including supervision of contracts, document flow
  • Current analysis of changes in legal regulations, informing the Employer about them and preparing and implementing relevant changes in the internal procedures and regulations applicable in the Employer's company
  • Other additional services agreed by the Parties in the course of cooperation
