The Strategy and Business Transformation team oversees medium to long-term strategy development, supports cross-functional execution, drives thought leadership, and ensures smooth business operations. The team collaborates with various corporate functions including Marketing, Legal, Finance, Technology, Risk, People, Client Services, and Communications to develop best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate strategic planning through analysis of market developments, opportunities, threats, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead strategy execution by managing annual prioritization and implementing a strategy PMO framework to improve discipline and accountability.
  • Communicate strategic objectives across the organization to ensure alignment with Visa's vision.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the local market to inform strategic projects.
  • Oversee performance tracking via scorecards, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams on client coverage, sales discipline, and operational planning.
  • Establish governance for investments and expense management to promote profitable growth.
  • Coordinate with regional teams and prepare updates for various corporate reports and forums.
Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in management consulting or strategy roles.
  • Experience or exposure to the payments industry or retail strategy preferred.

Skills

  • Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior management and external partners.
  • Adaptability and cultural sensitivity, with strong presentation skills.

Analytical Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and report development to convey insights effectively.
