Job Description Initial examination of loan scenario as communicated by the broker. Credit analysis, product comparison and recommendation. Collection and maintenance of supporting documentation. Packaging of loan applications including commentary and notes. Passing deal on to Broker Assistant for lodgement then managing any credit critical issues (in conjunction with the broker) that may arise during the approval process. Regular customer and broker updates throughout the application process. Liaise with lenders, solicitors, accountants, and appropriate third parties to ensure timely settlements. Process of valuations and home loan amendments. Oversee the execution of mortgage documents and settlement processes. Adhere to all compliance processes. Upload all relevant documents into aggregator software, for external audits. Contribute to regular team meetings. Help deliver a personable and professional service for clients. Requirements What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree Overall experience at least 3 years Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the Australian lending industry. Strong understanding of NCCP regulations and lender application processes, ensuring compliance with privacy standards (e.g., tfn redaction). Proficiency in SalesTrakker (CRM) and aggregator CRM systems for managing client applications and workflows. Experience with Quickli and Apply Online for data entry and document processing. Strong knowledge of Australian lender policies with the ability to stay updated on market and policy changes. Ability to communicate effectively with clients to collect necessary documentation and information. Capability to assess client files and propose suitable lender options to the broker. Proficiency in using lender serviceability calculators to assess borrowing capacity. Experience in ordering and following up on valuations. Ability to submit pricing requests to lenders. Proficiency in completing discharge authority forms. Experience in filling out first home owner grant (FHOg) and first home guarantee (FHG) forms. Strong follow‑up skills with lenders and solicitors until settlement. Ability to send post‑settlement information to clients and conduct structured follow‑ups at 6‑ and 12‑month intervals.
