Senior Supervisor, Accounts Receivable

The Collins Aerospace Finance Shared Service team is looking for a Credit and Collections Sr. Supervisor to lead a team of collections specialists. This team is responsible for the collections of cash owed by Collins Aerospace customers. The team is responsible for contacting customers through various methods such as email, phone and holding online meetings. They are also responsible for cash on account reconciliations, process of refunds and other misc. tasks as assigned. This leader will drive process improvements within the team, monitor employee performance and provide development opportunities to team members. Primary Responsibilities: Review teams assigned accounts to ensure timely collections of cash owed Acts as a point of escalation for the team when engagement is needed from internal departments Participate in or lead meetings with internal and external customers to discuss aged receivables Review/Approve write-offs on aged receivables as well as refunds due back to customers Will be responsible for the hiring, training and development of a team of collection specialists Monitors the effectiveness of the collection activities / operations, develops solutions to problems Manages development and implementation of small-scale projects to closure Collaborate with global collections management team for process improvements and escalations Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 8 years of prior relevant experience is required Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in credit & collections Prior management experience Prior experience with SAP and JDE Strong leadership and communication skills Strong Microsoft Office skills Proven ability to partner with business units and teammates with a customer service focus Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
