About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Head (Safety Practitioner) to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As the Safety Head, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and contractors, as we continue to deliver high-quality construction projects. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional to make a tangible impact on our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring comprehensive safety programs and policies to mitigate risks and promote a strong safety culture across our construction sites

  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety hazards

  • Providing safety training and education to all employees and contractors to enhance their understanding and adoption of safe work practices

  • Investigating incidents, accidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards

  • Collaborating with project teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution

  • Maintaining comprehensive safety records and preparing detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a safety practitioner in the construction industry

  • Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or a related field

  • Possession of a valid safety practitioner certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor)

  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, standards and best practices applicable to the construction industry

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety programs and policies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels

  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and safety management software
