About the Role: We are seeking a Senior System Engineer (Level 3) with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft enterprise technologies to join our growing Infrastructure team. This hybrid position requires working onsite three days a week and is ideal for a highly motivated professional who can lead Azure-based initiatives, troubleshoot complex systems, and mentor junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: Architect, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and services. Troubleshoot and resolve Level 3 escalations related to Microsoft systems and cloud services. Optimize system performance and reliability for on-premises and cloud environments. Lead Azure migration and modernization efforts across the enterprise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application hosting, networking, and identity management. Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures. Ensure compliance with security and operational standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 engineers. Technical Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles. Expert‑level knowledge in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, automation). Strong hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP , and Windows Server environments. Experience with Azure AD, Intune, Defender for Endpoint , and M365 services. Scripting experience with PowerShell or other automation tools. Familiarity with Azure Monitor , Log Analytics , and performance tuning. Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and networking (VPNs, firewalls, routing). Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) is a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications strongly preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert ITIL, MCSA, or similar certifications are a plus.
