Role Purpose: Work alongside with an art director within the creative department to conceive, develop and produce verbal or textual content for advertisements, which includes creating slogans, catchphrases, messages and straplines for printed adverts and leaflets, writing text for web advertising, as well as scripts for radio jingles and TV commercials. Key Accountabilities: Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the art director Present ideas to colleagues and clients Have a clear understanding of digital process and innovations in technology Familiarize with clients’ products/services, target audience and their competitors’ activities Write clear, persuasive and original copy Ensure that all products are proofed and ready for delivery or posting Revise or redevelop ads or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion Work on several campaigns when required, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines Keep up to date with popular culture and trends Prepare files and concept boards for client review and presentation Person Specification: Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate spelling and grammar Ability to write advertising copy that is original and impactful that meets the clients’ briefs Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Accuracy and highly organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Possess commercial awareness with the ability to understand the target audience Ensure consistency and quality in communication Bachelor's degree related to Arts, Advertising, or others With at least 4 years experience in Advertising agency Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment Type: Full-time If you’re excited by the idea of seeing yourself in this role, kindly attach your updated CV and writing PORTFOLIO.
