The Role

The person in this position uses words as weapons, overcomes psychological defenses of target audiences, and provides integrated and creative solutions with art, using precise insight and logical thinking to guarantee campaign success. Senior Copywriters work with Senior Art Directors to execute projects, supervise team members, manage resources and time costs, and create work up to Ogilvy standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Client Management: Communicate with account colleagues and clients to understand needs and provide efficient creative solutions.
  • Strategy: Maintain good working relationships with planners and contribute creative ideas for developing communication strategies.
  • Creative Leadership: Lead projects with senior art directors; understand creative briefs; collaborate with designers; manage textual content according to the creative plan; write compelling concepts; ensure smooth project progress; stay curious about emerging media and technology; contribute to awards and business growth.
  • Leadership & People Management: Set an example, stay motivated, train others, build trust, and uphold the WPP Code of Business Conduct.
