About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineering Technical Lead. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City. The Software Engineering Technical Lead role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring diverse top talent are retained. The role also oversees the design, development and maintenance of IT solutions ensuring security, reliability and scalability. The role requires engagement and partnership with different stakeholders and vendors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Build team alignment, ensuring the team understands global business priorities. Hire, attract and retain talent for the delivery organization. Communicate and reinforce the desired work culture, including a focus on safety. Recognize accomplishments and team member contributions. Engage with stakeholders and delivery partners to align and execute prioritized initiatives. Support digital enablement of business workflows and manage overall team performance and escalate concerns. Oversee the execution and delivery of cost-effective, scalable and value-driven IT solutions ensuring high availability and performance, integrating new technologies as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide solution architecture guidance. Leadership should improve engagement and motivation to promote innovation, accountability, and professional growth. A quick learner who can adapt in a dynamic environment with critical thinking and decision-making skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities without compromising quality. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and vendors and influence them on strategic goals. Ability to negotiate towards win-win outcomes. Broad technical IT experience related to solution performance, reliability, cybersecurity, IT compliance, outsourcing, modernization and agile delivery. Provide hands-on technical direction, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable, integrating with cutting-edge technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are advantageous. At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead or similar role with a proven track record of leading teams towards valuable outcomes. Development experience (e.g., .NET C#, Python, Node.js, Angular), hands-on experience with IT applications/systems (e.g., SAP S4Hana, ServiceNow, Workday); proficiency with SQL databases; familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments. Proficiency in Cloud computing (e.g., Azure), Scripting (e.g., Ansible, BASH, PowerShell) and data analytics is an added advantage.
