Reporting to the Global Head of Operations Automation, your accountabilities will include: Technical design and development of quality automation solutions based upon agreed architectural principles, best practices and guidance. Work with multiple internal teams, and product leads to understand the need or opportunity for automation Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and organizational coding standards. Lead and ensure best practice is followed for the code review process focussing on ensuring the highest quality of code is produced. Lead other engineers (at least one initially), helping them to grow, evolve and become better developers. Please review the attached job description for further details on the role. What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? An ideal candidate has the following qualities: Essential: Hands on experience with RPA and Automation development A willingness to learn new things, combined with significant experience or an understanding of automation approaches, implementation and the direction of travel of emergent AI libraries and capabilities Strong architectural design experience, specifically focused on scalable, reusable components and solutions Strong problem‑solving mindset, ability to learn quickly, and adapt to emerging technologies. Team leadership experience, and the ability to mentor and guide junior or less experienced developers and influence business users and stakeholders. Desirable: Use of RPA tools like UiPath and Appian Familiarity with no‑code platforms, agentic systems, and prompt flow engineering.
