About the role We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our team at Southern Arms Corporation' in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This full-time role is responsible for leading and managing our comprehensive security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of our employees, assets and premises. As the Security Manager, you will play a crucial strategic role in upholding our company's high standards of security and risk management. What you'll be doing Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures and protocols to mitigate risks and safeguard our operations Manage and oversee the security team, providing leadership, training and performance management Conduct risk assessments, security audits and threat analyses to identify and address potential vulnerabilities Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to coordinate security responses Monitor and maintain security systems, equipment and technology to ensure optimal performance Investigate security incidents, breaches and complaints, and take appropriate remedial actions Prepare comprehensive security reports and presentations for senior management What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably within the private sector Thorough understanding of security principles, practices and legislation relevant to the security services industry Proven ability to lead and motivate a security team, with excellent people management and communication skills Proficient in risk assessment, security planning, emergency response and incident investigation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels Relevant security qualifications or certifications would be highly regarded What we offer At Southern Arms Corporation', we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
