Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain (SC) Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing company's supply chain strategy and operations in order to support the company’s thrust towards maximizing process efficiencies and productivity. In addition, he/she is also responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and logistics partners. The Supply Chain Manager will administer the following areas: Planning and scheduling of all needed resources for the company’s operations and production Vendor qualification, negotiations, certification, and audit Import and export documentation and procedures Qualification, negotiations, and finalizing of agreements with logistics partners Logistics processes and schedules, and the management of related issues Management of warehousing procedures and documentation The Supply Chain Manager is also part of the ManCom team that oversees the effective execution of the company’s systems and processes to ensure that: customers are satisfied, corporate governance responsibilities are effectively fulfilled, and the company can improve or maintain its reputation in the market and the community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leading the initiative to implement ERP for planning, inventory, material consumption, productivity, and scheduling as well as other features. Coordinates the procurement of various supplies, equipment and inventory needed. Oversees vendor accreditation, audits, and incentive programs. Reviews and approves contracts and supplier policies, and acts as liaison with accredited suppliers. Builds and maintains good relationships with vendors and logistics partners. Oversees personnel actions related to purchasing and distribution procedures on a constant basis. Works with Finance to review and complete the annual budget and update monthly estimates / forecasts as necessary. Ensures materials and products are received on time and intact, and in the quality and at the cost agreed upon. Takes steps to make sure inventory levels can successfully fulfill production requirements and maximize company investments. Looks for opportunities to reduce cost (without compromising on quality) and improve the business model in order to provide better services and products to clients. Works with global marketing team to determine resource requirements and best vendors and distributors. Plans and implements the overall supply chain strategy, guided by key Supply Chain KPIs. Collaborates with the production for the resource requirements, quality, and timelines. Identifies purchasing, warehouse and logistics process bottlenecks and implements solutions for process improvement in a timely manner. Trains and evaluates team members. Provides constructive feedback. Updates the ManCom with monthly reports related to the overall cost of resources and the most current market conditions, warehouse inventory levels and logistics activities, as well as issues / concerns and how these may be or were resolved. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics management or related business courses. At least three years of experience as supply chain manager. Strong and proven communication, negotiation, and contract management skills. Those with experience with ERP systems will be given priority. Good financial acuity in order to understand and negotiate for the right cost that meets the forecasted budget. Good cost management skills. Ability to manage contract creation, execution, and analysis to maximize operational and financial performance, while mitigating financial risks. Project management and analytical skills.
