About the Role As a Product Owner , you will play a pivotal role in translating product vision into actionable development roadmaps across one or more product lines, ensuring alignment with both short-term priorities and long-term strategic goals. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, you will manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure the product(s) under your care meets both business objectives and customer needs. You will apply Agile methodologies to streamline the development process and facilitate continuous improvement, while fostering collaboration and communication across teams. Key Responsibilities Engage with a broad range of stakeholders to understand their business needs and ensure alignment with the product vision. Conduct detailed problem analysis to uncover root causes and propose solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships across departments. Present product strategies and updates to stakeholders. Actively participate in the Product Owner Community of Practice, sharing best practices and mentoring junior team members. Requirements & Analysis Lead the process of gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into well-defined stories and epics. Write and refine user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions are fit for purpose. Agile Product Development Use tools like Jira and Confluence to manage product requirements, backlog, and sprints. Guide the team through agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand‑ups. Facilitate discussions to clarify product vision and remove blockers. Review completed user stories and provide feedback for improvement. Take full ownership of the product backlog, ensuring it is organized, prioritized, and aligned with strategic goals. Use customer insights, business priorities, and market trends to inform prioritization. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure backlog reflects business needs and customer pain points. Product Development Life Cycle Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and post‑launch. Co‑create and communicate quarterly product goals. Assess and manage the impact of product changes in collaboration with development and business teams. Contribute to the development of business cases for new products or features. Ensure product decisions are made with a strong understanding of ROI. Support pricing strategy discussions to align with market expectations. Required Experience 3+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or related roles. Tertiary qualification in business, technology, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience. Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments. Experience managing multiple products or features. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experience scaling products in growth or global environments. Commercial acumen and understanding of pricing and revenue growth.
